Boiler Bay near Albany, Western Australia.
One of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. I used to visit here quite often when I was a kid and it’s so little-known that usually my family would have the whole stretch of beach to ourselves.I’ve spent many hours scampering over those rocks and swimming in the calm azure waters.
It’s called Boiler Bay because of this big old boiler in the water (just out of shot to the left of the second image). It’s completely rusted out, there’s not much left of it. It’s covered in seaweed and heaps of fish live around it. Great snorkelling.
